Daniel Cassidy's innovative theories on Irish's impact on American English slang in the New York Times' "Humdinger of a Project: Tracing Slang Back to Ireland"

Daniel Cassidy of New College in San Francisco first shared his theories of Irish slang with us at our public event October 19, 2006, before his book, How the Irish Invented Slang, had been released.  When he returned to New York for a co-sponsorred public event on November 6, 2007, his book had been published and garnered a lot of attention!
